Bangladeshi American Organization of Central Virginia (BAOCV) is a non-profit, non-political, and secular organization. This organization was established on April 7, 2002 for the purpose of:
Fostering community relations among Bangladeshis residing in Central Virginia.
Promoting awareness of Bangladesh, Bangladeshi culture and heritage in the Bangladeshi and larger community through cultural and social activities.
Promoting Bangladeshi-American friendship.
Developing relationships with other cultural/social entities.
Fostering participation in American mainstream activities and policy determination process.
